　　With the alarming spread of Covid-19 plaguing nations around the globe, the concept of global unity has gained a new interpretation and has sent researchers and doctors reeling for solutions.

　　随着新冠肺炎疫情在全球范围的迅速蔓延，全球一体化概念有了新的解读，敦促科研人员和医生积极寻求解决方案。

　　Spreading and multiplying with exponential spikes, the Covid-19 has claimed multiple lives and affected lakhs around the world till date. These are tough times.

　　迄今为止，新冠病毒传播扩散以指数级飙升，在全世界夺去了不少宝贵生命，还有大量人群被感染。这是艰难的时刻。

　　With global connectivity contributing to trade, commerce and technological developments, it is times like these that makes us question the ideas of free movement across boundaries and borders. It makes us rethink and measure the perils of having superior transportation networks. But, a snag in the fabric of humanity is far from what it will take to make us abandon our collective consciousness and human integrity.

　　全球互联互通固然促进经贸和技术发展，但诸如疫情暴发这样的时点，让我们不禁开始怀疑人口自由流动的副作用，并重新思考衡量便捷的交通网络带来的风险。但是，这一小小的障碍远不足以抵挡我们的集体意识和人类团结。

　　With China’s rampant growth and high population density based on the millions of businesses operating here, it is no mystery why the containment and arrest of the Covid-19 was difficult to manage. To add to this, China’s booming economy and industrial network made the virus travel and assault faster than anticipated.

　　中国数百万企业的快速发展及高密度人口，毫无疑问使得防控新冠肺炎疫情变得格外艰辛。此外，中国经济和工业网络蓬勃发展，使得病毒传播和攻击的速度超出预期。

　　Having no real history to speak of, and completely based on hygiene checks and regular sanitisation, there is no tangible measure to hold on to. This has quite naturally spread panic and hysteria among people, who are majorly concerned about the collapse of aid and governance with time. China, on the other hand, has been lauded for its rapid response to combat the epidemic.

　　面对前所未有的境况，完全依托卫生检查和定期消毒，尚未发现切实有效的解决措施，这很容易使民众产生恐慌焦虑情绪——担心医疗救护和治理会崩溃。然而，中国迅速应对和抗击疫情，赢得了赞誉。

　　Being the epicentre of a mortifying disease with unknown capabilities it must have been an uphill task. But, despite of the eyeballs of the world fixated on how it tackles this crisis, what China has done, as a community, is spectacular.

　　当疫情在中国肆虐时，中国对于病毒的破坏能力尚无完全认知，考验之严峻可想而知。在世界注目下，中国全社会在此次危机处理中表现出色。

　　Having an established reputation of being miles ahead in technologically and developments, China has indeed lived up to its name by rapidly acting against the viral spread of the coronavirus, taking drastic measures to lockdown and isolate its population.

　　中国在技术和发展领域的领先程度享有盛誉，此次中国通过封锁城市、隔离人口快速防控新冠肺炎疫情扩散，也没有辜负世界的期望。

　　When every major Virology expert is stressing on the need to quarantine and restrict movement among citizens, the complete shutdown of Wuhan and other cities in Hubei Province within a mere few weeks from the inception of the Covid-19 was a monumental parameter in the slowdown of the spread.

　　当每一位病毒专家都在强调市民居家隔离、减少外出的必要性时，武汉和湖北省其他城市在新冠病毒暴发之初即采取了全城封禁措施，为减缓病毒蔓延发挥了至关重要的作用。

　　It is almost unheard of, in the recent past, of a major superpower completely alienating itself and strictly imposing travel restrictions, effectively jeopardising its economy and trade relations, just to combat an illness. Not just this, being the flagbearers of human capital availability, China was able to construct 2 gigantic, 1000 bed hospitals, with state of the art facilities and test kits, within days.

　　过去，我们从未听说过哪个大国为战胜一种疾病而甘愿自我隔离、发布旅行禁令，甘愿付出巨大的经济代价。不仅如此，作为人力资本排行领先的国家，中国在极短的时间内就建成两个大型医院，每个都拥有上千床位，并配备了先进设备和检测装备。

　　Such a dedicated and coordinated effort is no mean feat, considering that the health professionals, first responders and construction workers agreed to pour in their hearts and souls into this development, all the while being dangerously susceptible to exposure.

　　那些医疗专家、一线人员和建筑工人，冒着随时可能被感染的危险全心全意地投入工作。如此万众一心、众志成城的壮举是了不起的成就。

　　China has been called the fasting growing economy for years. With its booming industrial markets that are unparallel successful operation and ethical codes, it has achieved stellar heights of business leadership.

　　多年来，中国经济持续快速增长。中国通过独树一帜的经济发展模式和道德约束，使得工业市场蓬勃发展，如今已经跃然成为全球商业领袖。

　　With the Covid-19 contributing to plunging stocks and destroying foreign exchange of raw materials to industry leaders like Apple and Tesla, it is amazing how the country has managed to hold on to its reigns and not crumble to shambles.

　　随着新冠疫情暴发，苹果、特斯拉等行业翘楚的股票暴跌，用来购置原材料的外汇也经受重创。然而令人惊奇的是，中国是如何设法保持秩序稳定，而没有出现混乱局面的。

　　For while more than 180,000 cases of the fatal and mortifying illness have been recorded globally, it is on the decline in China. This goes to prove that taking the call of going for a lockdown, and suspending schools, offices and all major gatherings, has indeed turned the stakes to our favour.

　　全球确诊病例超过180000例（截至北京时间3月17日23时），但中国的数据已呈现下降趋势。这充分证明全面封城、延迟开学开工、暂缓所有大型聚集性活动等举措，的确成功地扭转了局势。

　　Having a responsive and watertight public health system has indeed nipped the problem in the bud, historically speaking, and pulled down the effectivity of the mutating virus manifolds. It is horrifying to imagine what would transpire if this decision was delayed, as the pandemic that is taking new and aggressive shape each passing day, would become a monster impossible to fight.

　　根据疫情的发展过程可见，反应快速、功能完备的公共卫生体系能够把问题消灭在萌芽状态，并有效减缓病毒变异速度。在疫情蔓延形势严峻、确诊人数与日俱增之际，若中国没有及时果断地采取决策，后果将不堪设想，这次疫情甚至可能变成一个无法战胜的敌人。

　　But, China’s resilience and promptness has truly contributed majorly to uce the numbers from skyrocketing, and it is indeed a lesson to take home on how to put barriers around panic and keep a strong face in times of global community crisis.

　　然而，中国的迅速应变为减缓病例数目增长做出了巨大贡献，在全球危机中战胜恐慌、迎难而上的举措为世界作出了表率。

　　And finally, it is a sight to behold, in a poignant sense, on how at the end of the day we are all humans, separated by petty misunderstandings. Humans who unite against collective evils and fight shoulder to shoulder.

　　最后，值得注意的是，若人类因微小的误解而相互隔阂，这未免令人悲痛。面对共同的敌人，我们应当团结起来，并肩作战。
